Eco-Time Piece

Pushing a young material library

Eco-Time Piece was inspired by my love for nature and camouflage fashion. During the early days of Fusion 360, I designed the band to show the extent one could go in manipulating the scarcely available material in the software’s material library.

The design was featured in the Autodesk Fusion 360 gallery and shared on their official Instagram page twice in 2017.

Design features

• Camouflage band. Material manipulation to create a realistic camouflage pattern.
• Gemmed screen. A gemstone-inspired watch face complementing the natural theme.
• Stainless steel. Components chosen for durability and a premium feel.
• Ergonomic fit. Designed for comfortable all-day wear with attention to wrist contours.

Process

Initial sketches and material research focused on bringing nature-inspired elements into wearable design. That was followed by extensive testing of the Fusion 360 material library to achieve realistic camouflage effects, precision modelling of all components, and high-quality renders from multiple angles for the Autodesk gallery.
